Bank of India PO Recruitment 2009 – Bank of India recruits (PO) Probationary Officer with the total vacancy of 1083 posts.Interested candidates can apply for the post of PO in Bank of India. The payment of Challan starts from 9th November 2009.The online registration begins from 11th November 2009.The last date for online registration is 30th November 2009.The written Examination for the PO cadre will commence on Bank of India is 24th January 2010.
Age Limit :
Candidates within the age limit of 21 years to 33 years can apply for the PO job in Bank of India.
Incase of SC/ST candidates (33 + 5)years of age and for OBC candidates (33+ 3)yrs of age is acceptable

Eligbility Criteria:
General Banking Officer Scale I:
The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university.
The candidates who have experience in Bank/Finance can apply for this job, even freshers with knowledge in Bank /finance can also apply for this job.
Candidate must have knowledge in accessing computers.
General Banking Officer Scale II:
The candidate must be a graduate with 60% of aggregate mark from any recognized university(or)
The candidate must be a post graduate with 55% of aggregate mark (or)
The candidate who have done Diplomo in Management (or) candidates with qualification like CA/ICWA can also apply for this job.
The candidates who are having minimum 3 years of experience in Bank/Finance can apply for this job, even freshers with knowledge in Bank /finance Institution like JAIIB/CAIIB can apply for this job.They will be given more preference.
General Banking Officer Scale III:
The candidate within the age limit of 24 to 35 years can apply for this job. Incase of SC/ST candidates (35+5) years and incase of OBC candidates (35+3) years of age limit is acceptable.
The candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university with 60% of aggregate marks.(or)
The candidate can be Post Graduate with 50% of aggregate marks or Diplomo in Management .
The candidates with qualification of CA/ICWA can apply for this job
The candidate with minimum experience of 5years in Bank/Finance Institutions in Officer casdre(like JAIIB/CAIIB qualification will be given more preference.
Application and Fees Details:
Candidates applying for post of PO in Bank of India Rs.400 (incase of SC/ST candidates no fees)in any branch of Bank of India using the challan given in website on or before 30th November 2009. The transaction number should be provided during the Online submission of application process. The printout of the application should be submitted at the time of Interview.
Selection Process:
The selection process starts with written test followed by Personal Interview.
The written test will commence on 24th January 2010.The written examination involves
Objective Test
Descriptive Test
The candidates should score 40% in each of Objective Test and 50 % in Descriptive Test to get eligible for Personal Interview.
Note: Negative Marking of (-0.25) will considered for each wrong answer in written test.
